Crews respond to a fire at a gas processing plant in Springfield Township.

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Fire crews from several departments responded to a fire at a gas processing plant in Springfield Township late Monday afternoon.

The fire started in the back of the cryogenic plant on State Line Road. A black plume of smoke could be seen for miles.

Investigators think it may have started when some foam caught fire.

No one was hurt and the gas processing plant was not damaged.
