Police charge man with robbery at Liberty Dollar General

LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) – Police have arrested a suspect, believed to have robbed a Dollar General store in Liberty. 

Timothy Clinkscale was arrested by the U.S. Marshal Violent Fugitive Task Force. Police said he was hiding in the attic of a home on Youngstown’s north side.

He is charged with aggravated robbery and will be taken to Trumbull County Jail to await his arraignment.

Police said Clinkscale entered the store on Wednesday, and when at the counter, he pulled a knife out of his sock and pointed it at an employee. Police said he then reached over the counter and took money from the cash register.
