YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown woman was jailed on felonious assault charges after police said she tried to run over a man and pregnant woman with her car.
Police were called to a Third Street home twice on Tuesday for an argument between the suspect, 18-year-old Tiyzasha Perry, and the man who lives there. Officers ordered Perry to leave the area, but she returned later that day, according to a police report.
According to the report, police spotted Perry running from the area with a 2×4 board in her hand. The alleged victim told police that Perry came there trying to start a fight with the pregnant woman. He said earlier that week, Perry threw eggs at his house and scratched his car.
The man told police he and the woman were standing on the front lawn near the sidewalk when Perry tried to run them over with the car she was driving. They were not struck, but police said there were tire tracks from the street and onto the sidewalk and front lawn of the home.
Perry was arrested and taken to Mahoning County Jail. On the way there, police said Perry made threats that when she gets out of jail, “he hasn’t seen anything yet.”
