Champion offense dominates in win

Warren, OH (WKBN) – The Champion boys soccer team jumped out to an early lead and defeated Niles, 9-0 Saturday at Champion Community Stadium.

The Golden Flashes were led by Zack James, Henry Meese, and RJ Smith, who each scored 2 goals apiece. Champion led 7-0 at halftime.

Mike Arnold and Christian Riel also chipped in goals, while Zack Johnson had 2 assists. Noah Worley recorded a goal and an assist.

Champion improves to 2-0-1 on the season and face Girard next Tuesday at 7 PM.
