WARREN, Ohio – Robert Earl Daniels, 60, of 2016 Youngstown Warren Road, Warren, departed this life Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his residence.
He was born August 31, 1956 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Robert Thornton and Lollie Daniels.
Mr. Daniels was employed with Neff-Perkins of Middlefield for two years as a Press Operator, before retiring in 1995 and was a self-employed Auto Mechanic. He also enjoyed sewing.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army for four years, receiving several commendations.
He leaves to mourn, one son, Robert Ondra Daniels of Warren; one daughter, Ms. Antila Daniels of Warren; one stepson, Keon Daniels of Warren; two stepdaughters, Ms. Tosha Bowers and Mrs. Sheauntie Murry both of Warren; his mother, Ms. Lollie Mitchell of Warren; two brothers, Johnny Roy Mitchell and Dale Mitchell both of Warren; three sisters, Ms. Barbara Anne Daniels, Ms. Cheryl “Sue” Mitchell and Ms. Charrine Mitchell all of Warren; twenty-four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Lowery Daniels and James Edward Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the York Avenue Church of God.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to service, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
