EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) — There was demolition in East Liverpool on Wednesday afternoon, as crews are tore down abandoned store fronts and apartments to make way for the new Market Street lofts.

The city’s planning department said 45 units will be made into workforce housing.

Work started about two weeks ago, as crews had to do asbestos abatement before they could start knocking the building down.
