Feds take Boardman and Youngstown bank robbery case

The suspects left town and were arrested a few days later at the Mountaineer Casino and Racetrack in West Virginia

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)  Two bank robbery suspects were indicted by a federal grand jury.

Prosecutors say Rick Gonzalez, 51, of Campbell, robbed a Huntington Bank in Boardman on April 18 and then on April 28, Gonzalez and Michael Zarlingo, 55, of Struthers, robbed a PNC bank in Youngstown.

In the Youngstown robbery, FBI investigators say one of the men had a shotgun and the other jumped the counter, taking money from employees and a cash drawer.

The men left town and were arrested a few days later at the Mountaineer Casino and Racetrack in West Virginia.
