Crash injures motorcyclist in North Jackson, narcotics found at scene

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Bailey Road

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in North Jackson on Bailey Road.

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – State troopers found narcotics on a motorcyclist who was injured in a crash early Thursday evening in North Jackson.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Bailey Road.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said the motorcycle and another car were both heading north on Bailey when they collided.

The motorcycle rider was sent to the hospital.

“He just has really minor injuries, ankle, back, neck. We’ll know more when we get to the hospital and speak with him,” said trooper Dan DeLuca.

No one has been charged related to the crash, but troopers said the motorcyclist will face charges for drug possession.
