Actor Sean Patrick Thomas to campaign in Valley for Clinton

Thomas, the star of "Barbershop," will stop in Youngstown and Warren this weekend

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Actor Sean Patrick Thomas will campaign for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in  the Mahoning Valley this weekend.

Thomas, the star of “Barbershop,” is expected to urge early voting and ask voters to support Clinton and running mate Tim Kaine.

He will be at the Youngstown-Warren Black Caucus’s Annual Dinner in Youngstown on Friday. The dinner starts at 6 p.m.

Then, he is kicking off canvassing in Warren at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17.

Also stopping in Ohio for Clinton’s campaign is actor and Ohio native, John Lithgow, who will make four public stops. Lithgow is known for roles such as Dick Solomon on the sitcom “3rd Rock from the Sun.”

He will stop in Pickerington, Ohio University and Mansfield on Saturday. On Sunday, he will be in Lakewood for a canvass kick-off event.
