WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Medical staff revived a Warren mother Wednesday night after she overdosed in front of her 4-year-old daughter.

Warren Police arrived at the home on Denison Avenue, where MedStar staff was already on the scene.

The homeowner told officers he didn’t know the woman, 29-year-old Sarah Beans, very well, but she came over around 10 p.m. and collapsed in his living room.

Shawn Stambolia, 35, of Youngstown, said Beans gave him a ride to the Denison Avenue home.

He said it looked like she could barely keep her eyes open, so he asked if she had taken anything. She said no and continued driving, according to the police report.

MedStar staff said they had to give Beans four doses of the opioid-reversal drug Narcan to revive her. They took her to Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Beans told them she took two Klonopin with heroin, according to a police report.

She was issued a summons for endangering children.

Stambolia was arrested because police learned he had a capias for fines and costs.

The 4-year-old’s grandmother came to pick her up.
