Task Force plans 2 checkpoints in Mahoning County this weekend

Both checkpoints will be held in Boardman

OVI Checkpoint, DUI

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County OVI Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, announced two OVI checkpoints for Saturday night.

The first checkpoint will be on South Avenue at Lowe’s in Boardman and will run from 10 p.m. to midnight.

The second checkpoint will be on U.S. Route 224 at Marinthana Avenue in Boardman and will run from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m.

In addition, police officers from participating agencies of the Task Force and Highway Patrol will conduct saturation patrols in various parts of Mahoning County throughout the weekend.
