The Republican candidate said Ohio "is having such a problem" with drugs

NEW YORK (WKBN) – On his show Thursday, Dr. Oz talked with Donald Trump about the viral photos from East Liverpool that show a 4-year-old in a car with two unconscious adults.

Oz showed Trump the pictures and asked what needs to be done to stop the drug epidemic.East Liverpool Police find a 4-year-old in a car with unconscious adults.

The Republican candidate’s first response was to secure the borders and keep drugs from coming in.

“You know, it’s just pouring in. It’s less expensive than candy. You go to the store, you want to buy candy, you can buy heroin in some places for less. I go to New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, I go to different places. Ohio is having such a problem.”

Trump says the drug problem is worse than it’s ever been.

Also on Thursday’s show, Trump showed Oz the results from his latest physical. Trump’s doctor says he “is in excellent health.”
