VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – In a thriller, Windham hung on to beat Mathews, 42-41.

Trailing by seven points, the Mustangs scored a touchdown with just 1:12 left in the game to cut their deficit to one.¬†However, Mathews’ two-point conversion try was unsuccessful, propelling Windham to victory.

Windham led 34-27 early in the fourth quarter, before Mathews took a 35-34 lead with 9:33 remaining.

Mathews will travel to Rootstown in week five.
