Wood rushes for 4 TDs; United ends their 2-game skid

HANOVERTON, Ohio (WKBN) – Cade Wood scored four touchdowns enroute to his 211 yard rushing night as United defeated Southern, 41-7.

The Golden Eagles opened the contest with a pair of 50-plus yard runs in the first quarter by Wood. Number 32 carried the football just 8 times in the game but gained 26.4 yards per carry. As a team, United gained 392 yards rushing (402 total). Parker Hydrick and Kiel Jones both accumulated 47 yards on the ground respectively.

The Eagle defense held Southern to just 96 yards of total offense. Dylan Milhoan led the Indians with 60 yards on 8 rushing attempts. After beginning the season with a 2-0 mark after week two, the Indians have fallen in each of their past two games.
