WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Team Sanders, Inc. officially began working on its biggest undertaking of the whole year, the ‘Home for Christmas’ project.

A home will be renovated and given to a family in need at Christmastime. For right now, the location of the home and the family who it will go to are kept under wraps.

According to TSI’s website, the organization “was created to bring together various resources with the main purpose of educating the youth.”

This is the second year TSI has done this project, and all the work for it is done by volunteers.

TSI Founder and President William Sanders Sr. said anyone who’s been wanting to give back needs to look no further.

“If you want to get involved this year, this is definitely the event to do it. Even if it’s volunteer work or just donations, just giving back is our key and that’s what we’re trying to show. Just giving back a little bit will help out a lot,” Sanders said.

TSI will also be working with the Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and the Warren Family Mission to teach the receiving family everything they need to know about how to keep the home, from property taxes to upkeep.
