BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – A fire early Saturday morning forced residents outside of their apartment building on the 4200 block of Glenwood Avenue as firefighters worked to put out the flames.

Boardman Fire said they received the call around 3 a.m. and firefighters were on scene in less than five minutes.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to any neighboring buildings.

The fire is still under investigation. There is no word on how badly damaged the building is or how long until those residents are able to go back inside.
