Tribute: Larry Trimble

Larry Trimble, 68, departed this life September 17


WARREN, Ohio – Larry Trimble, 68, of 279 First Street, S.W., Warren, departed this life Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 7:46 p.m. at St. Joseph Medical Center, following complications from surgery.

He was born November 21, 1947 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Oscar Louis and Susie Bell Giddens Trimble, Sr.

Mr. Trimble was employed with General Motors Packard Electric for 41 years as a machinery repairman before retiring in 2007.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army for two years, receiving several commendations.

Mr. Trimble enjoyed fishing and hunting and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School Class of ’65, New Castle School of Trade and Packard Electric Apprentice Program.

He leaves to mourn, two brothers, Dennis Allen Trimble and Ricky (Sharon) Trimble both of Warren; one sister, Ms. Geraldine Trimble of Warren and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Oscar Trimble, Jr. and Ralph Trimble.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace AME Church.

Calling Hours will be held one hour prior to service (10:00-11:00 a.m.).

Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 1336 Union Street, S.W., the home of his sister, Geraldine Trimble.

Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.

A television tribute will air Thursday, September 22 at the following approximate times:
12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
