Michael A. Esposito, Hubbard, Ohio - obit

HUBBARD, Ohio – Michael A. Esposito, 83, died Saturday morning, September 17, 2016 at Sharon Regional Hospital.

He was born December 16, 1932 in Youngstown, a son of Charles C. and Verna Sweda Esposito and had lived in Hubbard since 1959.

Mr. Esposito served with the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He was a supervisor for Commercial Intertech for forty years, before retiring in 1995.

Michael was a member of the Parker Bowling League. He enjoyed woodworking, playing with his grandchildren, watching sports on television, especially Cleveland sports and NASCAR races.

He leaves his wife, the former Delores Malagisi, whom he married October 20, 1956; two sons, Michael (Tammy) Esposito Jr. of Hubbard and Mark (Nancy) Esposito of North Canton; a daughter, Diane (Ken) Romo of Hubbard; six brothers, Charles (Eva) Esposito of Niles, Carmen (Amy) Esposito of Austintown, Edward (Carol) Esposito, Richard Esposito, Myron (Renee) Esposito and Louis Esposito, all of Girard; three sisters, Verna (Frank) Dando of Girard, Marguerite Violante of Walden, New York and Louise (Tom) Headley of Alliance; four grandchildren, Nathan, Kenny, Madison and Anthony; two step grandchildren, Ryan (Tiffany) and Mitchell and two step great grandchildren, Kendhal and Kendra.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 20, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating.

Closing prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 9:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
