WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren woman was awakened by a gunshot into her home early Monday morning.
According to a police report, the woman was lying in her bed around 4 a.m. when she heard a loud bang outside of her Orlo Drive NW home. She told police she heard a car take off down the road, but did not see it.
When police arrived, they recovered a bullet that was lodged into the corner of a medicine cabinet inside the house. They also found a 9mm Luger shell casing lying in the road in front of the home.
According to the report, the projectile went through the bathroom window and broke two panes of glass.
The woman, who lives in the home with her husband, told police she doesn’t have any known issues with anyone.
