Canfield sophomore publishes book to empower others

Vincent Patierno, 15, authored "The Day to Day Revelation," a book that discusses issues in society and how to treat people better

Vincent Patierno, a Canfield sophomore, published a book.

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – What started as notes on a Canfield sophomore’s legal pads is now a published book.

Vincent Patierno’s book, “The Day to Day Revelation,” is a journey through life and how people can treat one another better. It walks through current events and long-existing issues in society, hoping to introduce readers to a new way of viewing them.

The high school author wants to show others they have the power to make a difference. Patierno says this is important, especially during the political season.

“You never know who you’re going to inspire, just in anything that you do. I think it’s very important to have an intention for everything that you do when you wake up in the morning.”

Patierno didn’t think he would get published, and was shocked when he received the good news. The 15-year-old didn’t even tell his mom about it until after he heard from the publisher.

“The Day to Day Revelation” is available through the online publisher Lulu Enterprises.
