Pa. woman dies after throat slashed, police follow blood trail

YEADON, Pa. (AP) – A blood trail led police to Philadelphia after they found a woman dead in Delaware County.

The woman was found with her throat slashed in Yeadon early Thursday.

Police believe the suspect may have been injured because a trail of blood led to wooded area off Baltimore Avenue in Philadelphia. Police are searching the area with K-9 units.

The woman’s name has not been released.
