Valley watch parties planned for presidential debate

The debate will be broadcast nationally beginning at 9 p.m.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Valley Democrats and Republicans are hosting debate watch parties tonight for the debate.

Clinton supporters in Mahoning County will gather from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at their headquarters, 2947 Market St., Boardman.

In Trumbull County, Democrats will be at the Ohio Together Headquarters on East Market Street, also from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Mahoning County Republican Party Chairman Mark Munroe says there will be a GOP debate watch party at their headquarters located at 8381 Market St., Boardman, beginning at 8:45 p.m.

In Trumbull County, Trump supporters will meet at Quaker Steak and Lube, 2191 Millennium Blvd, Cortland at 8:30 p.m.

In Mercer County, watch parties will be held in Mercer and Grove City.

The Mercer County GOP is holding a First Debate Watch Party at 8 p.m. at 124 S. Diamond St. in Mercer.

The Grove City College Republicans will host a party, beginning at 8 p.m., at the Breen Student Union on Pinchalong Road in Grove City.
