Woman stabbed in neck during fight in Youngstown

Officers were called just after 1 a.m. Sunday to a parking lot at 292 South Ave. where they found a female victim with a cut to her neck

Megan Noel was arrested for felonious assault in connection to an altercation in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman is in the Mahoning County Jail on felonious assault charges after police say she stabbed another woman in the neck.

According to a police report, officers were called just after 1 a.m. Sunday to a parking lot at 292 South Ave. where they found a female victim with a cut to her neck.

Witnesses at the scene told officers said they saw commotion in the parking and witnessed the victim and another woman, identified as Megan Noel, fighting.

A pocket knife and a box cutter was found at the scene of the stabbing, according to the report.

Police went to Noel’s home where they found her sitting outside in a vehicle, according to the report. She was placed under arrest and taken to the Mahoning County Jail.
