Youngstown State students came together for a presidential debate watch party.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown State’s student government held a debate watch party on campus Monday night.

About 40 people showed up, representing a good mix of Republican, Democrat and undecided voters.

They were quiet for the majority of the debate, only laughing at interruptions or facial expressions.

“I feel like it was rather close, being that I wasn’t sure who I wanted to vote for,” said Brent Bigelow, of Boardman. “I feel like Hillary won. She talked more politics since she is a trained politician, but Trump kept it close, doing his thing, interrupting.”

Bigelow says the debate didn’t help make up his mind, but that the two candidates covered a lot of important issues.
