YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Calvin Macklyn Lynch, 65, of Youngstown who departed this life Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Mr. Lynch was born December 12, 1950 in Littleton, North Carolina, a son of Nathan Howard and Georgia Ann Nicholson Lynch.
He was self employed and enjoyed working on cars, challenging others to chess, playing cards and listening to music.
He loved his family dearly.
He leaves to cherish his memory, six siblings, George Howard (Rosetta) Lynch of Hampton, Virginia, Mary Lynch Hicks of Liberty, Clinton (Joann) Lynch, Sr. of Dublin, William (Vera) Lynch of Youngstown, Sophia (Joe) Gray of Liberty and Gary (Christine) Lynch of Liberty; three special friends, Zadie Pearce, Angelisa Johnson and Kevin Adams; a daughter, Aiesha Ali, whom he reared and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Nathan Lynch.
Friends may call on Monday, October 3 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
