NORTH JACKSON, Ohio – Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Joyce A. Moore, 79, of North Jackson who passed away Tuesday, September 27, at University Hospitals of Cleveland after a short illness.
Joyce was born August 12, 1937 in Warren, the daughter of Carl and Ruth (McFadden) Patton.
She retired in 1997 as a Nursing Assistant with Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and the Retirees of Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Joyce was also a past member of the Red Hats Society.
Her husband Howard Wilson Moore, whom she married September 15, 1980, passed away April 24, 2016.
Joyce leaves one daughter, Deborah Miller and her husband Jim of Niles; four stepdaughters, Cindy (Terry) Krol of North Jackson, Bobbie Jo Moore of Youngstown, Jackie Albright of North Jackson and Tammi (Rev. Herman, Jr.) Bucklew of Upper Sandusky; two sisters, Carol and Judy; a grandson, Fred Harris of Warren; as well as 21 other grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Joyce is preceded in death by a son Norman W. Lancaster; a stepdaughter, Judy Prout; three granddaughters, Kelly Jean, Christina Renee, Laura Marie and 3 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel where services will be held at 12:30 p.m.
