BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Boardman continues to grow along Route 224, making land available for new businesses.

Now that the new Chick-Fil-A is open, the old one across the street is being demolished.

The former Chick-Fil-A between Texas Roadhouse and Ohio Auto Loan Services was being torn down Thursday by an excavating crew. The building should be fully demolished by Friday evening, and the area will be cleared by Tuesday.

There is no new owner of the land yet, but a bidding process for the location will begin soon.
