Crestview snaps skid with huge offensive numbers

Crestview will welcome East Palestine next Friday.

HANOVERTON, Ohio (WKBN) – Crestview snaps their three-game losing streak with a 47-14 win at United. The Rebels had posted a total of 45 points in their previous four-games. Crestview tallied 568 yards on the ground to accumulate a season-high 630 yards of total offense. The Rebels held the ball for almost 32 minutes (31:58) and finished the game with 26 first downs.

Andrew Yanssens and Caleb Hill finished with 288 and 202 yards rushing respectively. Hill passed the ball 6 times, completing 3 for 51 yards (TD).

For United, the team was held to just 102 yards of offense. Nathan Mikell passed for 106 yards (2 TDS) on 13 of 18 passing. Jake Clark caught his first two touchdowns of the season as he led the Golden Eagles with 5 receptions for 51 yards. Parker Hydrick caught 5 passes for 37 yards.

Crestview will meet East Palestine next week in a matchup which saw the Bulldogs get the best of the Rebels last year (47-34). United will play at South Range in week seven.
