Grove City soars past Slippery Rock

The Grove City Eagles moved to 6-0 on the season with a convincing 47-6 victory over Slippery Rock Friday night.

GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – The Grove City Eagles moved to 6-0 on the season with a convincing 47-6 victory over Slippery Rock Friday night.

Early in the first quarter, Trey Adams scored from 3 yards out to give the Eagles a 7-0 lead.

On the following Grove City possession, AJ Turner pulled in a 35 yard touchdown pass to extend the lead to 14-0.

Brayden Martin recovered a fumble and rumbled 35 yards to the end zone to make it 21-0.

Grove City (6-0) will travel to DuBois in week seven.
