Sharpsville and Hickory will collide in week seven

Sharpsville defensive back Marquis Altman single-handedly squashed a Greenville combeack Friday night in a 33-14 Blue Devils victory.

GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Sharpsville defensive back Marquis Altman single-handedly squashed a Greenville combeack Friday night in a 33-14 Blue Devils victory.

Greenville led 14-7 at the half on the back of two Canyon Eells touchdowns from 2 and 50 yards away respectively.

Robert Besser answered the call for the Blue Devils to open the second half, scoring his second and third touchdowns of the game in the opening minutes of the third quarter to take a 19-14 lead.

With just over four minutes remaining, and the Blue Devils holding onto a one possession lead, Marquis Altman answered the call with not one, but two consecutive interception returns for touchdowns to put the game away for the Blue Devils.

Sharpsville (5-1) will host Hickory in week seven. Greenville (3-3) will travel to Wilmington.
