Youngstown fire investigated as arson

Neighors said no one lived in the house, but there was mail in the mailbox

A fire damaged a house on Rush Blvd. in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Crews worked Friday morning to control a fire at a home in Youngstown.

Firefighters were called about 7:15 a.m to the house at 4427 Rush Boulevard.

When crews arrived, flames were shooting from a front window and smoke was pouring from the roof.

No one was inside the house. Fire officials on the scene said it had recently been vacated.

The fire is being investigated as arson.

No injuries were reported.
