BERLIN CENTER, Ohio – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday October 4, at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine’s Parish in Lake Milton, for Mary A. Nemeth, 85, of Berlin Center who passed away Saturday, October 1, at her home with her loved ones by her side.
Mary was born September 30, 1931 in Czechoslovakia the daughter of John and Theresa Yuhas.
She retired in 1993 from Sparkle Market where she was the Deli Manager.
Her husband Andrew Nemeth whom she married April 14, 1951, passed away April 25, 2009.
She was a member of St. Catherine’s Parish and a former member of its Ladies Guild. Mary was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. She also enjoyed gardening and loved to bake.
Mary leaves four children, Theresa (Chuck) Byer of Lake Wales, Florida, Rick Nemeth of Berlin Center, Penny (Chris Gordon) Vencel of Aurora, Colorado and Bob (Heather) Nemeth of Charleston, South Carolina; two sisters, Florence Bolchalk of Boardman and Theresa Boring of Niles; as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one son Thomas; one grandson, Andrew Raymond Byer; two brothers, John Yuhas and Michael Fetsko and one sister Pauline Neopolitan.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Catherine Parish in Lake Milton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4.
