POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Valley Christian falls to 2-3 after their 28-15 loss to visiting Cleveland Central Catholic.

In their two wins this season, the Eagles have scored 89 points (44.5 avg). In their three losses, they’ve accounted for 36 points (12 avg). Tonight, Milan Square threw for 2 scores and 177 yards (11-22).

The Ironmen (2-4) snapped their two game losing streak. Mark Patterson scored the first three touchdowns of the game (2 runs, 1 catch). He finished as Central Catholic’s leading ball carrier with 59 yards. Their quarterback Marvin Minger completed 10 of 15 for 125 yards.

Next week, Valley Christian will meet undefeated JFK on Saturday. Over the next two weeks, Central Catholic will face St. Thomas Aquinas and JFK in a pair of pivotal North Coast showdowns.
