YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The trial of a man accused of hurting his own baby boy could be going to a Mahoning County jury sometime Tuesday.

Jury selection got underway Monday morning in the child endangering trial of Devin Telego of Austintown.

Prosecutors say his then-three-month-old son suffered serious head injuries in January and may have been disabled. At the time, police say Telego told them he had simply been bouncing the baby on his knee, but when the child was taken to the hospital, doctors discovered the injuries.

Lawyers could finish calling witnesses on Tuesday and then make their closing arguments.
