Big 22 football

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – It’s been 18 years since Struthers beat Poland on the football field.  1997 was the Wildcats last win.  But that came to an end last Friday night… thanks in part… to a Big 22 Contender.

Struthers Quarterback A.J. Musolino racked up over 140 yards rushing, and scored three times in the Wildcat’s 28-21 win over Poland.

Girard Sophomore Mark Waid lit it up against Campbell.  He threw for 373 yards, helping the Indians earn their first win of the 2016 season.

Finally,  our Player of the Game from Friday night was Canfield Quarterback Jake Cummings.  He scored two times, including a fourth quarter run that put the Cards up for just the second victory over Boardman in program history.
