Lowellville man dies after antique car rolls over him

LOWELLVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A man died Monday night after an antique car he owned rolled down his driveway and hit him.

Police say Charles Jones, 67, was standing in his driveway at 44 Queisner Ave. about 7 p.m. when the car starting rolling backwards and hit him.

Jones suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, where he later passed away.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Canfield Post at (330) 533-6866.
