BEAVER TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – A man and suspected prostitute were arrested Monday night after an undercover officer responded to an advertisement online.

The advertisement listed services with “a sexy drama free woman.” Police recognized a photo of the woman from “recent activities at local motels in Beaver,” according to a police report.

The officer arranged a meeting with the woman, 38-year-old Giavonne Gutierrez, at the Liberty Inn. Police said the woman agreed to sexual services via text message.

Gutierrez was arrested at the hotel. Police said during the arrest, they noticed a man parked outside near the room start to drive away. The driver, 41-year-old James Heck, was stopped and questioned.

Police said a crack pipe was found in Heck’s vehicle, as well as heroin. Heck told police that he drives Gutierrez from “job to job” and that he paid for the room.

Police said a crack pipe, crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia items were found in the hotel, as well as condoms and a sex toy.

Gutierrez told police that she had been with another customer earlier that day and had paid Heck a portion of the money, as well as purchased drugs. She said Heck drives her around for prostitution and drug abuse, according to the report.

Gutierrez was charged with solicitation, criminal tools, drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heck was charged with promoting prostitution, drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. He appeared in court Tuesday, and bond was set at $7,000. He is scheduled to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on October 28.
