Crews battle house fire in Sharon

The fire broke out about 4 a.m. inside a house at 314 Liberty Street

Crews in Sharon, Pa. worked to battle an attic fire early Wednesday morning.


SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – Emergency crews worked Wednesday morning to control a fire at a house in Sharon.

The fire broke out about 4 a.m. inside a house at 314 Liberty Street.

A couple was in the house at the time of the fire, but they were able to make it out okay and call 911.

The fire was mostly contained to the roof where the bulk of the fire damage is located, however, other parts of the home sustained water damage.

No injuries were reported.

A cause has not been determined.
