Jury indicts women caught in Austintown prostitution sting

Two suspected prostitutes from Cleveland were arrested in Austintown Tuesday afternoon by a police officer posing as a customer.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Mahoning County grand jury indicted two suspected prostitutes from Cleveland on Thursday.

Brittany Miller and Casey Torres are charged with aggravated possession of drugs, promoting prostitution, solicitation and possessing criminal tools.

Police arrested the women in Austintown in August. They said Miller and Torres had advertised escort services in the Youngstown area.

An officer, posing as a customer, agreed to meet them at the Super 8 motel on 76 Drive, where they were taken into custody.

There were several devices for sexual purposes and 19 Oxycodone pills in their car, according to police.
