Cleo Roulakis Fabian, Campbell, Ohio – obit

CAMPBELL, Ohio – Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Orthodox Church in Campbell, with Rev. Steve Denas officiating for Cleo Roulakis Fabian, 64, who passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home.

Cleo was born April 12, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of Steve and Irene Patzakis Roulakis.

She was a 1970 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to attend Ohio State and Youngstown State University.

She worked as a sales associate at JC Penney for 18 years.

Cleo was a parishioner of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, where she was an active member of the choir and faithfully volunteered at the church festivals and other church functions. She also gave of her time and talents serving as a Sunday school and Vacation Bible School teacher. Cleo was also a member of the Philoptochos Society. She was very dedicated to living a good, Orthodox Christian life.

She loved her children, her church and her faith.

Cleo also enjoyed playing solitaire and watching Family Feud.

Cleo leaves to cherish her memories; her mother, Irene Roulakis of Campbell; her uncles and aunt, Dr. Michael (Susan) Patzakis of California, Dr. Nikita (Jean) Patzakis of Texas and Dorothy Maragos of Campbell; her daughters, Amalia Kostantas of Campbell, Andreanna (Sandro) Ducceschi of Switzerland and Kathleen Fabian of Campbell; her siblings, Dr. Nick Roulakis of California and Virginia Faubel of Poland; her grandchildren, Alex Kostantas, Daniel Mahr, Steven Mahr and Isabella Ducceschi; her former husband, Ray Fabian, whom were dear friends and many more family and friends, whom she loved.

Her first husband, Andreas Kostantas, whom she married in Athens, Greece, in 1971, passed away August 12, 1979, when Cleo was just 27 years old. Besides her husband, Cleo was preceded in death by her father, Steve; her grandmother, Afrati Patzakis and her aunt, Flora Patzakis.

The Fabian Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Thursday morning from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. at St. John Orthodox Church on Struthers-Liberty Rd., due to the current renovation project at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
