MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio – David “Buzz” Lowe, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
He was born on January 28, 1941 in Frankfort, Kentucky, son to the late Luther and Mary (Henderson) Lowe.
Buzz worked as a furnace operator for R.M.I. for 34 years. He was hard working and provided for his family.
He loved his grandkids and enjoyed watching them grow up. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and helping out everyone he crossed paths with. Buzz will be remembered by all as the perfect example of a good guy.
Left to celebrate Buzz’s life is his loving wife of 57 years, Wanda (Whittaker) Lowe, whom Buzz married on August 8, 1959.
Buzz is also survived by his children, Brenda (Don) Tenney, David (Tina) Lowe, Randy (Pamela) Lowe and Thomas Lowe; his grandchildren, Jason (Danielle) Tenney, Tiffany, Mackenzie, Michael, Tyler, Ryan, Brianne, Marissa, Mariah, Brayden, David and Victoria Lowe; his great-grandchildren, Leena, Marcus, Allison, Connor and Preston; his brother, Ken Lowe and his sisters, Maxine Gilliam and Bonnie Gadd.
In addition to his parents, Buzz is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Tenney; his brother, Richard Poling and his sisters, Debbie West and Nellie Poling.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, 1350 N. Niles-Canfield Rd., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kerr Cemetery.
