Allen Lee, Jr. was arrested in Youngstown after a police chase.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown man who led police on a chase in September with a child in the backseat was indicted by a grand jury Thursday.

Allen Lee, Jr. is charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, obstructing official business, endangering children and resisting arrest.

Officers said Lee led them on a chase through the city’s south side after they tried pulling him over for a traffic stop.

He eventually crashed into a guardrail in Mill Creek Park and got out of the car to run away, but officers caught him at the bottom of a ravine, according to a police report.

Police said the boy in the backseat of Lee’s car was bruised, disoriented and scared, but otherwise uninjured.
