A scoring burst from Chuck Carr paced Hickory past Sharpsville, 56-26, as the Hornets improved to 7-0.

SHARPSVILLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – A scoring burst from Chuck Carr paced Hickory past Sharpsville, 56-26, as the Hornets improved to 7-0.

Trailing 19-14 in the second quarter, Carr scored on runs of 3 and 47 yards to give the Hornets a 28-19 lead going into halftime.

Carr then scored twice more in the second half to finish with four TDs on the game.

Hickory will host Wilmington in week eight. Sharpsville (5-2) will visit Slippery Rock.
