Former Ohio Governor Dick Celeste campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Former Ohio Governor Dick Celeste, who is now 78 years old, was in Youngstown Monday to campaign for Hillary Clinton.

He was trying to convince a group of 15 people to vote for the Democratic candidate in the presidential election. He also took some time to catch up with fellow Democrat Harry Meshel.

Celeste is bothered by the tone of the campaign.

“I’m dismayed. I was just in Cleveland and I was talking to a group of volunteers that included a 12-year-old, and they said, ‘What do you say to young people about something like this?'”

The former governor now lives in Colorado, where he served as President of Colorado College.

Celeste is a veteran politician, having also served in the Ohio House of Representatives.
