Three local teams qualify for State golf tournament

The Brookfield and Columbiana boys, along with the Poland girls will represent the Valley this weekend.

Youngstown, OH (WKBN) – The Division II and III State Golf tournament takes place this weekend in Columbus, and three Valley teams will compete for a State Title.

The Brookfield and Columbiana boys will compete at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury on October 14-15. The Warriors finished 1st at Districts, followed by the Clippers.

Boys – Division III

Northeast District – 1st Place (325)

On the girls side, Poland finished 3rd at Districts and will play at The Ohio State University Gray Course October 14-15.

The Division I State Tournament  takes place October 21-22 in Columbus. Qualifying for boys and girls takes place this week at the District Tournament.
