Heartland Christian’s Flynn breaks school record

Flynn's 1,432 career kills rank her 21st all-time in the state of Ohio.

Heartland Christian's Bonnie Flynn became the program's all-time leader in kills in a 3-0 win over Maplewood Tuesday night.

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – Heartland Christian volleyball standout Bonnie Flynn became the program’s all-time leader in kills in a 3-0 win over Maplewood Tuesday night.

Flynn finished with 35 kills and 32 digs on the night.  She now has 1,432 kills in her career, surpassing the previous record held by Kristen Osborn who finished her career with 1,408.

Flynn’s 1,432 career kills rank her 21st all-time in the state of Ohio.  She also ranks second in Ohio in kills on the season with 511.  She ranks first in the state in digs with 770 on the year.

Heartland Christian improves to 6-14 on the season.
