Police: Warren woman robbed on walk to work

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren woman told police she was robbed on her way to work Sunday morning.

According to a police report, around 7:05 a.m., the woman left her apartment on Robert Avenue NW and was walking towards work when a man crossed Garden Street NW and approached her. The man then told the woman, “I have a gun and I’ll blow your brains out.”

The woman told police the man told her to walk with him and to give him all of her money. After resisting initially, while on Hartman Avenue, the woman pulled out $210. The man then snatched the money and ran away.
