AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Ellamae Mallory, age 85, of Austintown, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Born May 26, 1931 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Stanley and Geraldine (Cowher) Jones.
Mrs. Mallory was a homemaker.
She was a member of Austintown Community Church, Youngstown Country Club and the Phi Lambda Sorority.
She was an avid shopper and enjoyed her shopping trips with all her girls. She also loved the yearly family vacation in Deep Creek, Maryland.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly (Samuel) Amendolara, Richard Scott (Lori) Mallory, Amy (Doug) Shaffer, Laurie (Joe) Keller and Stacie (Terry) Helminiak; grandchildren, Chase (Leah), Mallory (John David), Taylor, Jacob, Kaitlin, Samantha (Kevin), Katie, Laine, Michael, Bree, Cassie, Hunter, Magie, Callie and Tessa and one great-grandchild, Adelynn. Also surviving are Jill, Pat, Kelsey (Alex), Jenny, and Jack Bresnahan and Jeff, Jen, Alec, and Mya Hamilton, whom she considered children and grandchildren of her own.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her high-school sweetheart and husband of 63 years, Richard A. Mallory, who died on March 2, 2016 and a grandson, Mathew Shaffer.
Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at the Austintown Community Church, 242 South Canfield-Niles Rd. on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Nelson officiating.
Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
