WARREN, Ohio – Rosemaria K. “Rosie” Steiner, 78, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the Windsor House in Champion.
She was born April 15, 1938 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry and Carmella Kitakis.
She was a 1956 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
Rosemaria was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren.
She enjoyed arts, crafts and cooking.
She is survived by her husband Charles “Chas” Steiner III whom she married May 17, 1958; three children, Sophie (Richard) Christie of Racine, Wisconsin, Kyle (Aida) Steiner of Campbell, Ohio and Karen (Joseph) Carillio of Warren; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Erin) Jordan, Kyle Steiner, Jr, Victoria Steiner and Gianna Carillio; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Dominic Jordan and Atalya Steiner; three brothers, Harry (Sherry) Kitakis of Medina, Gino (Karen) Kitakis of Cortland and Michael Kitakis of Niles and two sisters, Frances “Dolly” Achladis of Warren and Carmella “Babe” (Wayne) Niemi of Howland.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may call Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Sunday, October 16, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rosemaria’s name to St. Mary’s Church, 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
