Austintown Fitch mounted a comeback, but in the end fell to Erie McDowell, 28-21, in overtime.

ERIE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Austintown Fitch mounted a comeback, but in the end fell to Erie McDowell, 28-21, in overtime.

The Falcons fell behind 14-0 in the first half, as Erie’s Levi Becker found Jake Cervik for a TD reception. Fitch was also intercepted in the end zone right before the half.

The Falcons (4-4) will host Boardman in week nine.
